During move-in, lights will be on half-power, 24-hours a day. During show days, lights will be full power one hour prior to show opening until one hour after show close.
Orders for electrical services must be submitted at the Exhibitor Service Center or through the text program. Floor plans are required for utility services so be prepared to share this information before submitting your onsite request.
Electrical and Plumbing desks: Exhibitors may go to these locations to request final hookups for machines and ask specific utility related questions. New orders for electrical services must be submitted at the Exhibitor Service Center. As floor plans are required for utility services, be prepared to share this information before submitting your onsite request.
Exhibitors are permitted to connect multiple pieces of equipment to our 110v, 120v, 500, 1000-, 1500- and 2000-watt electrical services if they do not exceed the maximum rated amperage. If you exceed the maximum rated amperage, you may “blow a fuse” or potentially damage equipment. For safety reasons, all 208v and 480v services must be connected by a PES Electrician.
When ready for a final hookup, the exhibitor must be present. Hookups may be requested at the service centers or at the Utility desks on the show floor. Please be patient with hookup requests as many of these happen on the last day or two before the show opens. Technicians will respond to these requests as soon as possible.
Rollover Labor: If you need to bring back labor the following day to complete a project or to avoid overtime charges, you must schedule the rollover labor needed at a utility desk by 2pm the day before. Labor will not be automatically dispatched back to a booth to complete an open ticket. If you have questions concerning roll-over labor needs, please stop by the appropriate utility desk to discuss your options.
All exhibitors providing cables and cords must be 3-wire grounded. Exhibitors / EACs are not permitted to run or install any cords that will be placed under flooring.
Avoid Code Violations: PACK EXPO Services is subject to the City’s electrical codes and regulations. PES electricians are required to inspect all electrical connections. If you are in non-compliance with the code, we will work with you to try and repair the fault and restore the booth to code (additional charges may apply).
It is extremely important that your technical people know the codes and construct a booth that conforms to them. Electrical equipment must be listed and labeled by a nationally recognized testing laboratory, i.e., Underwriters Laboratory or specifically approved by the Las Vegas Bureau of Electrical Inspection.
If you need power during move out days, please contact a Customer Service Manager at the Exhibitor Service Center or at the electrical desks before 12pm on Wednesday, October 1.
