The 2017 PMMI Foundation Golf Tournament (Sept. 24; Bali Hai Golf Club, Las Vegas), held in conjunction with PACK EXPO Las Vegas (Sept. 25–27; Las Vegas Convention Center), will raise more than $40,000, according to PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. The PMMI Foundation supports the packaging and processing industry with education programs including scholarships, support for student travel to PACK EXPO, and PACK EXPO student initiatives such as The Amazing Packaging Race, the Future Innovators Robotics Showcase and the NextGen Networking Fair.

“Through the PMMI Foundation, PMMI supports the packaging and processing industry’s developing workforce as well as the current labor pool by encouraging ongoing educational efforts," says Stephan Girard, director, Education & Workforce Development, PMMI. “We’re very grateful for the generosity of our sponsors and golfers in helping us advance these important initiatives.”

The PMMI Foundation Golf Tournament has been held the day prior to the opening of PACK EXPO Las Vegas since 1995, and once again, the tournament is a sellout, with all player slots filled and a total of 33 sponsors:
